For the unveiling of the Spring-Summer 2021 collection on.dior.com/ss2021, Maria Grazia Chiuri commissioned the filmmaker Alina Marazzi to produce a short film highlighting the oeuvre and person of Lucia Marcucci, a prolific and provocative Italian visual artist whose work combines collage with poetry, and was an inspiration for both the collection and the show space. Here Marazzi speaks about how the idea came together, from her invention of a 'child poet' alter-ego to the extraordinary access she was granted to the artist’s archives.
